A lovely vintage French benitier or wall mounted font made out of varnished, veneered wood.
There is a silver relief plaque of Saint Thérèse and a small, clear glass bowl which is held firmly in place with a ridged metal clasp.
Height: 7" (18cm) Width: just over 3½" (9.5cm)
The font is old and the veneer shows some wear with a chip in the bottom left corner.
Ruffoni, the original artist's name can be seen on the silver-tone reproduction plaque, which is quite beautiful, and there is a small, rusted hanging loop at the top edge.
